The Manila Baywatch — formed by Manila Bay Beach — is a community watch, volunteer organization devoted to both environmental protection and crime prevention, as well as providing first-aid and life-saving services along the entire 900m Manila Baywalk.

In brief, a Philippine Mountain Ranger and Wildlife Enforcer (aka an Environmental Soldier) is a well-disciplined, honorable, quasi-military volunteer who selflessly serves the environment, wildlife and the community, and most importantly — when called upon — assists the injured and/or saves lives.

The Philippine Mountain Rangers and Wildlife Enforcers is currently accepting its first class of recruits to train and to serve (joining previous graduates) alongside and in cooperation with both the DENR and the PNP at the Manila Baywalk as inducted members of the Manila Baywatch.
